THE accomplice of Peter Gerard Scully, the Australian being tried here in connection with the horrific pay-per-view “Daisy’s Destruction” snuff videos, is now in the city jail in Lumbia here.
Liezyl Margallo, 23, was flown in from Cebu and quickly brought to the 37th branch of the Regional Trial Court under Judge Jose Escobido, one of the judges who ordered her arrested. She was then made to undergo medical examination before she was brought to the Lumbia jail.
NBI agent Wenceslao Galendez said Margallo, from San Miguel, Manolo Fortich in Bukidnon, has been slapped with 59 cases, and 14 arrest warrants for her alleged participation in the sexual abuse and torture of children, and even the murder of at least one in Surigao City.
The suspect is allegedly the masked woman in what has been described as the darkest and sickest child pornography videos ever made available online.
In one of the videos, the masked woman strips a crying toddler, ties her upside down, clips the private parts with clothes pins, spanks her clipped sex organ, then pours candle wax on the genitalia while the victim’s legs were apart, and later urinates on the abused child.
The remains of another victim, a 12-year old, was found buried in a Surigao city apartment that was once leased to Scully.
The NBI said Margallo was a girlfriend of Scully, the alleged creator of the “Daisy’s Destruction” videos.
The two were charged with murder, rape, trafficking in persons, violation of the cybercrime prevention act and the special protection of children against abuse, exploitation and discrimination act.
They were linked to the abuse of at least eight girls in the city from 2011 to 2014, all recorded on video and uploaded on a website for pedophiles.
At least two street kids, ages nine and 12, were allegedly detained and abused in an Apovel Subdivision house in Bulua, this city. The victims managed to escape.
The NBI arrested Scully in Malaybalay City in Bukidnon in February 2015 with the help of Margallo who even volunteered information about how children suffered in his hands. She also guided authorities to the Surigao apartment where the remains of one of the victims were buried.
Because there was no arrest warrant against her at that time, Margallo was released, and she has since moved from one place to another to avoid getting arrested.
Margallo was caught in Malapascua Island near Daan Bantayan, Cebu, on Tuesday. She was reportedly in the company of two Britons.
