IN A SIMPLE yet commemorative program, former Calabarzon regional director of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Reynulfo A. Juan was installed as the new executive director of DENR 12 on Wednesday.
During the program, Juan reiterated to all DENR heads and employees the priority program of the department under the auspices of Secretary Gina Lopez targetting six proponent areas in Region 12 to be a model under the SIAP-Project – a project that was said to enhanced livelihood to the chosen peoples organizations and a great help in the preservation of the environment.
The areas were in Pangi-Forest Reservation in the areas of Sarangani Province, Lebak in Sultan Kudarat, Midsayap in Cotabato Province and three other areas all described as vital and must be in completion withing six months.
In a huddle with PEN-RO-Sultan Kudarat, Renato Domingo, Juan mentioned that he and his Cenro’s Abunawas Abduladsis, Al Hadj ang Badjuri Mustapha will be ready to training people that will be responsible and reliable people’s organizations to managed the program. (Rose Muneza)
