As its way of expressing appreciation to the sacrifices of the soldiers to restore law and order in Marawi City, the Misamis Oriental Care System (MisOrCares) will hold a one-day outreach program at the 4th Infantry Division in Camp Evangelista, Barangay Patag in Cagayan de Oro City this coming Saturday.

MisOrCares Provincial Coordinator Maryden Ocot said this outreach program for the 150 army soldiers particularly those who were wounded in the continuous gun battle in Marawi City includes entertainment packages and various surprises to make them smile despite their present condition and temporarily forget their horrific experiences in the ongoing war.

“A lunch buffet will be served to be shared among the wounded soldiers and some personalities from the provincial government will join the affair,” Ocot said.

She said they will also distribute goods such as rice, mugs, towels, shirts, personal care, and grocery items at the event.

“We will also turnover 10 units of hospital beds with linens to the 4ID hospital,” Ocot added. (pio misor)
