Gingoog City Mayor Marie Guingona has appointed three more board directors for the Philippine Red Cross Gingoog Chapter during its 6th Chapter Assembly and Board Orientation held at Penthouse City Hall here Tuesday.
Guingona, who also serves as the PRC chapter chair, appointed Talisayan Mayor Rommel Maslog, Gingoog businessman Karl Rorymar Lim, and Misamis Oriental Board Member Wayne Militante as PRC board of directors.
Their appointments, as mandated, is to complete the new set of board of directors to start their term this year, said Marilyn Abian, PRC chapter administrator.
Other officials who were recently elected and appointed as the board of directors for another term are the following: Mayor Guingona, Dr. Joel Babanto of Gingoog Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospital , Lalaine Ruth Cezar, Mayor Donato Chan of Medina, Felicisimo de Lara Jr, Tita Garrido, Guido Guanzon, Merle Ledesma, Niel Lumantas, Councilor Myrna Motoomull, Juval Nadal, Tita Teope, and Fr. Jerry Padogdog.
The new set of board of directors will be electing their chapter chairmanship and other officers among themselves anytime next week or depend the availability of Mayor Guingona said Abian.
