COUNCILOR Reuben Daba has expressed alarm over a series of stone-pelting cases on roads in many barangays in the city which he said have caused injuries and damages to vehicles.
One of the victims, in particular, Daba said, suffered a concussion when a still unidentified bystander threw stones at his vehicle on a road in Barangay Kauswagan.
Daba said he also received reports of similar incidents in other barangays of the city where car windshields have been damaged and passengers were hurt.
“Nabalaka ako nga kun kini nga mga insidente dili mapakgang basin daghan pa unya ang mabiktima,” said Daba.
He has called on the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office to conduct nightly patrols in the barangays where stone-pelting cases have been reported. (cli)
