WHAT to do on Independence Day? Oh. Take advantage of the non-working holiday by not working at all. Independence from working by reading books the whole day. That’s how a holiday should be spent: staying home, sleeping, eating, reading, the same sked I prefer for weekends.

I’VE reached that age. No matter what time I sleep, I can still wake up at or before 5 am. If I sleep at 3 am, that’s a two-hour sleep. If at 2 am, that’s three hours. If 1 am, four hours. On some days, it’s 6 am.

NOW that Election 2025 is so over, it’s time to ponder on why I voted for a particular candidate, why I didn’t vote for the other, what were the qualifications I was looking for in a political candidate.

ALL of Cagayan de Oro’s Election 2025 winners are familiar names or have familiar surnames, no need for introductions.
