4ID through its “Peaceful War” campaign had long been conducting activities such as Youth Leadership Summit trainings, sports activities, camp tours, static displays and information and education campaigns among others.

Further, various schools from elementary, high school and colleges in Cagayan de Oro City and nearby provinces have also conducted their activities inside 4th ID headquarters and letter requests continue to pour in.

“We are happy to continue to open our doors to the public for we want to nurture, educate, empower and protect our children as well as the youth against unscrupulous organizations such as the New People’s Army, their recruitment and deception schemes,” said Maj. Gen. Franco Nemesio Gacal, 4ID Commander.

“As we continue with the implementation of the Executive Order 70 or the “Whole-of-Nation Approach” in Regions 10 and Caraga, we are nearing our goal of achieving sustainable peace and development. Children’s future is crucial, we must protect it by all means. Saving our children’s future is saving the future of our nation,” he added.

This year, the NCM is anchored on the theme “Karapatan Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan Tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan.” (4id pa)
