The agreement obliges the city to allow NWRB to install solar panels and sensors as well as improve the housing setting of the constructed monitoring wells, because the transmitted water level and water quality data will be used for research purposes. It also obliges DepEd to protect the groundwater monitoring wells and all the instruments from vandalism as it is located in the vicinity of the schools, particularly in Balulang, Macanhan, Macasandig, Bugo, Agusan and Baluarte.

The ordinance was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on education and on laws and rules respectively chaired by Councilors Suzette Magtajas-Daba and Ian Mark Nacaya. (sp)
