Golden Dynasty Motors (GDM) Incorporated sales and marketing manager Eric Barromeo, said the company is adding two dealerships in Caraga Region, one in cities of Butuan and Tandag, Surigao del Sur and in Zamboanga City.

“We hope to cover the whole of Mindanao by first or second quarter by next year,” Barromeo said.

Barromeo said the company even expressed hope at a brighter future for sales and dealership in the months to come with the expected effect of the government’s unprecedented “Build, Build, Build” program on the country’s equipment demand.

“We have seen the sudden increase in terms of market revenue through orders for light and heavy equipment for Caraga Region, as we are planning to expand our reach towards this part of Mindanao,” said Barromeo.

He added that when the new administration has pushed for their new policy on the “Build, Build, Build program”; they have seen volume of projects lined up from Davao region and in Caraga.

“These projects have grown up exponentially. This is one of the main reasons why the demands for heavy equipment’s, earthmovers specifically dump truck and crawlers increased. Our company distributes light and heavy equipment’s, mostly earthmovers such as Shacman, FAW and Foton Dumptruck, FAW light and medium truck, Jonyang excavator and Sinomack,” Barromeo explained.

Barromeo also said with the reliability of the products that their company carries, they have seen the rise on orders and purchases.

“An example of how much the industry has grown is that, last year if we check, we sold about 100, but now in the mid-year we almost tripled our unit releases ranging to around 300 to 400 units as of today. These are combination of light trucks and heavy equipment’s,” said Barromeo.

Meanwhile, Eddie Quintana, light and heavy equipment distributor who sold several earthmovers in Region 10 and Caraga region revealed that the market has suddenly flourished for construction equipment’s and machineries in the past few months.

“So far the market has been on the rise, especially for construction equipment’s and machineries, especially earthmovers. We hope that the trend will indeed continue to flourish, with high demand in the market, clients can also choose better products and push better competition among brands providing consumers quality top of the line light and heavy construction machineries,” said Quintana.

Last month of this year, the government of Butuan City has purchased 43 mini dump trucks for solid waste that will be distributed to the different barangays, 10 equipment for roads maintenance and 19 heavy equipment for infrastructure projects and emphasized on purchasing Japanese brands.
