DAVAO City — The city council here has approved the temporary closure of some streets for the celebration of the 82nd Araw ng Davao.
Starting over the weekend, half of the lane of Palma Gil Street, particularly in front of the Pasalubong Center will be closed to vehicles, starting at 2:00 pm to facilitate the Hudyaka Drum and Bugle Corps competition.
Half of the lane in the ingress portion of San Pedro Square behind Rizal Park Agila stage will also be closed to traffic on March 15 at 2:00 pm for the Civic Parace.
Roxas Avenue, C.M Recto Avenue, Bonifacio Street, Pelayo Street to San Pedro Street from 3:00 am to 2:00 pm will be closed on March 16 for the conduct of Parada Dabawenyo. (davaotoday.com)
