Douglas Garcia, sanitation inspector of the City Health Department, said that last Monday, a six-year-old boy from Barangay Buruun, Purok 4 succumbed to dengue. This in spite of the city’s efforts like info drive especially on the 4s. But this will be validated further, he added. The city as of the last monitoring had 854 cases, he said.

The Philippine Information Agency, Lanao Norte in a text message said that if you are using a repellent, after a few hours, “repellents tend to fade over time, especially when applied to the skin. Reapply them  as often as you can to maximize your protection against mosquitoes.”
