Hampac said the wife, identified as certain Maphilin Gerona Jagdon, 55, a resident of Pamintao, Bogo City in Cebu province, confirmed at his police station that her husband died at the hospital.

Hampac said the wife wants justice over the death of her husband and requested for an investigation.

Hampac said witnesses said the Jagdon was already suffering chest pain on that evening upon checking in at a hotel room in Eastland Hotel, this city.

He added that Jagdon was allegedly with another woman, a certain Bituin Josol, who rushed Jagdon to the hospital.

Jagdon, a businessman in Cebu, died a few minutes after arriving at the hospital here, said Hampac.

Initial investigation shows that a certain Bituin Josol called the Jagdon’s family friend in Cebu, a certain Roberto Natad, 67. Natad then informed the wife of Jagdon that her husband died in Gingoog.

Hampac said the wife told police that her husband left their home on April 8.

The body of Jagdon has been transported to Cagayan de Oro for autopsy and will then be brought back to their residence in Cebu, Hampac said.
