I came here with so much life and hope, fighting through words, for those who can never defend themselves.

Being a pet mom myself, I would always think about what if my two babies would be in an environment wherein they wouldn’t feel safe, such an awful feeling.

Through this we hope we could enlighten you, to be the best parent any dogs would be lucky to have.

Animal Rescue de Kagay-an can be an avenue to be just that; their only request is that you must be ready not just physically but emotionally as well. Having a pet is just like having a newborn in your house for the first few months you must have that patience and understanding to wake up in the middle of the night to accompany your fur baby outside, food should be ready at all times, vaccines, vitamins, deworming should be given regularly.

I know this could be quiet expensive but just like when you are starting your own family some of your wants should be set aside to provide for their needs. That should be your priority, in exchange someone who would wait for you at the door, excited to see you, a lifetime of having a best friend. And honestly right now, it is something I wouldn’t even consider replacing. So to all pet parents out there a big salute to you all.

If you are still hesitant to adopt, they are also looking for volunteers, spend time with them, and get to know these sheltered puppies and dogs, you might know your soul mate would be there waiting, wagging its tail.

Animal Rescue de Kagay-an is looking for volunteers who would be willing to 1. Walk 2. Clean the Kennel 3. Feed them; do not worry because their team would be happy to assist you through this process.

A big acknowledgment to the people behind this non-profit organization, this is not an easy task to undertake, they have devoted their time and money just to save the helpless and sadly they can’t do everything themselves. With a kind heart maybe you can donate monthly supplies for our dogs and puppies in the shelter, as of the moment they have 21 puppies and 5 dogs. They are asking for donations for

1. Dog Food -a helpful happy tip meat dust would be much appreciated because according to Miss Roiselle Sjostrom and she makes an excellent point, these dogs were mainly on the street, they survived going through trash to search for food, so dog food is not really their main cup of tea.

2. Vitamins and Deworming – these are mainly for the puppies and it is a vital need for their growth and development, so they could have a healthy and happy life.

3. Water Tank –their current location doesn’t have that much access to water, and we pretty much need water to survive. They are asking if someone could donate a water tank, a reservoir for them to collect water for the kennels and drinkable water for our canine friends.

Upon interviewing Miss Roiselle Sjostrom of Animal Rescue de Kagay-an, I feel such an overpowering feeling of faith in humanity, they rescue dogs out of their own will, they have also provided medical care for them, especially the ones they rescued off the street.  If you have extra cash maybe you could give some to the organization because as of the moment they have unpaid bills from veterinary hospitals in the city. One is for a male dog that got hit by a car and a motorcycle at the same time and the one who got axed in the street.

I would like to give a very huge thank you to Miss Roiselle Sjostrom and Animal Rescue de Kagay-an for this opportunity to see the reality, we hope that through this article we could shine a little light in someone’s heart and be a proud pet parent in the near future. For adoption inquiries and donation you may contact Roiselle Sjostrom at 0995-563-3129.
