THE 18th City Council during its recent regular session presided over by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy, approved a Resolution earnestly requesting the Presiding Judge of Branch 4, Municipal Trial Court in Cities, 10th Judicial Region, to hold in abeyance the implementation of the Writ of Execution issued in a civil case for Ejectment/ Recovery of Possession for a period of five months.
This, to enable the city government of Cagayan de Oro through the City Housing and Urban Development Department to conduct a socio-economic survey of the affected residents and to identify a suitable relocation area for them.
The resolution was endorsed by the committees on urban and rural poor and on laws and rules, respectively chaired by Councilors Zaldy Ocon and Ian Mark Nacaya. (sp)
