BUTUAN City — Another drug suspect was arrested by the police during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday morning here.
Police Regional Office 13 regional director Chief Supt. Rolando Felix identified the suspect as Ronald Serrato Laoganas, resident of Purok 4, Barangay San Ignacio this city.
Seized from the suspect were seven assorted-sized plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 50 grams with street value of P 590 thousand, several drug paraphernalia, a P1 thousand bill, and 10 P1 thousand bill as marked money.
Citing the records from Police Regional Operations and Plans Division, a total of 345 persons have been arrested, 19 suspects have been killed in law enforcement operations, and P39,946,039-worth of illegal drugs have been confiscated since the implementation of Project Double Barrel since July 1 up to August 31, 2016 here in Caraga Region.
“We will continue to intensify the conduct of operations against illegal drugs personalities not only concentrating on street pushers but also on High Value Targets listed in drug watch list,” Felix said in an emailed statement to this paper.
