ILIGAN City — Lone District Rep. Frederick Siao spent his time over the weekend attending turnovers with the Department of Public Works and Highways of projects under his Local Infrastructure Program.

Last Thursday, a 240-meter concrete barangay road was turned over by DPWH to Barangay Upper Tominobo, here.

District Engr. Alikhan Ali told the barangay folks that the road cost P2,821,603.26 from the Local Infrastructure Fund of Siao and was paved by SDM Ventures.

Early the next day, another concreted road at the entrance of Erlinda Subdivision was turned over to Chairman Jun Abragan of barangay Del Carmen.

Ali said the road was also funded through the Local Infrastructure Fund of Siao costing P1,878,864,40 and paved by Alfahad Builders and Enterprises.

Later in the morning, another concreted road inside the Iligan National School of Fisheries in Buruun, Iligan City was turned over by DPWH to School Principal III Ronillo Apas who thanked Siao and committed to taking care of the project.

Engr. Ali mentioned that the said project was built at P3,195,917.42 also from the Local Infrastructure Program of Siao and was also executed by Alfahad Builders and Enterprises.

Likewise, inside the school compound, a P12,217,512.36 two-storey Laboratory Workshop building was also turned over by DPWH to the school.

According to Ali, the building was funded in the General Appropriations Act through the initiative of Siao.
