Go was in Tangub city to spearhead the launching of the country’s 143rd Malasakit Center at Doña Maria D. Tan Memorial Hospital (DMDTMH).

A cheque worth P3 million was personally handed by Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino, Presidential Assistant for the Visayas to Dr. Janice Biete, DMDTMH chief.

Go was warmly met by City Mayor Jenny Tan and her husband, Governor Philip Tan of Misamis Occidental.

During her speech, Mayor Tan said, he is overwhelmed by the Senator’s efforts just to address the health problems of their constituents.

Meanwhile, Gov. Tan also expressed his gratitude to Senator Go for the financial assistance.

For his part, Go said the money is not from his own pocket but it is coming from the government.

Go also distributed another financial assistance to the rank and file employees of the said hospital that fall under the program Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situation.

Fifteen bicycles, 15 computer tablets, and 12 pairs of shoes were raffled off to hospital employees. Also, face masks, face shields, food grocery packs, and vitamins were also distributed to the attending crowd during the event.

Go said, the putting up of Malasakit Center in their area is just part of his many efforts to improve health services and reduce health problems in the country.

Busa kini para ra gyud niadtong naglisud,” Go said.
