A HOT pursuit operation is now ongoing against the two hold-up robbery suspects who victimized a 23-year-old Indian yesterday at 12:30 in the afternoon.

Police Major Peter Tajor, police station 6 commander, identified the victim as Vipanjit Singh, single, and a resident of Sitio Tibasak, Barangay Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.

The incident happened at Purok 7, Upper Barangay Puerto.

In an initial police investigation of some of the residents at the said crime scene, one of the witnesses identified the suspects.

The suspects were named by authorities through a witness as certain Marlon Pasiol, single, aka ‘Opaw,’ and Christopher Sabanpan aka ‘Topher,’ single, and both residents of Purok-7 Upper Barangay Puerto Puerto, this city.

In an interview with the victim, he said the suspects took away his bag containing cash amounting to at least P60,000, a mobile phone, a driver’s license, and his Bureau Immigration Identification card.

Singh told police the robbery occurred while he was in the area collecting money from the individuals who loaned money from him.

He said the suspects suddenly appeared and one of them pointed a bladed weapon before declaring a hold-up.
