THE City Council committee on finance, budget and appropriations chaired by Councilor Edna Dahino during its recent meeting tackled the request for appropriation of P8 million from the 2018 annual budget for the concrete paving of Barangay Tagpangi Farm-to-Market Road, Tagpangi and Barangay San Simon to Pagatpat Farm-to-Market Road, Pagatpat.
Based on the Program of Works submitted by the City Agriculture Office, the funding requirement is P3 million and P5 million for Barangays Tagpangi and Baikingon, respectively.
Likewise discussed was the proposed Memorandum of Agreement between the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-10 and the city government on the establishment of Materials Recovery Facilities in every barangays. (sp)
