CITY Health Office chief Dr. Lorraine Nery reported that there have been 340 new arrivals in the city since yesterday. Of this figure, 104 people are still under the 14-day mandatory quarantine.
“Wala’y reported cases nga naa’y respiratory symptoms. Naa sila sa nagkalain-lain nga City Isolation Units. Tulo ka CIUs atong nagamit para sa ila. By next week, naa ‘tay paaboton nga mga repatriates,” Nery said.
She said they have monitored a total of 457 people who have had close contact with patients who have been admitted to hospitals across the city.
Of this number, Nery added that only 147 people are still under close monitoring by the Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams.
“Ang mga (acute respiratory illness) nga na monitor nato naka spread sa lain-lain nga barangay. Wala pa’y clustering atong nakita,” said Nery. (Cong B. Corrales)
