THE Road and Traffic Administration has been visible in clearing the roads in the Cogon market of ambulant vendors. I understand that office is working because of the directives given by the night market group of Kag. Eric Salcedo.
My informant said that one night, the clearing team, is it RSCU, confiscated several foodstuffs including orange fruits. I understand foodstuffs are turned over to CSWD para mapuslan pa.
However, my informant said no oranges reached CSWD when the turnover was made. What happened in the meantime?
This is one form of corruption committed by RTA underlings. Is it tolerated by the department head who seems to be merely dawlims?
Mayor Klarex Uy must look into this otherwise the corrupt personnel in the RTA will not stop this alleged mulcting of vendors and will reflect on his otherwise clean record of governance. (Peter Clarete| peterclarete@gmail.com)
