THERE is nothing conceivable about what James Judith has done regarding the supposed committee, but clearly his personal report on the investigation of the ayuda controversy. What he has done is clearly a personal agenda rather than ferret the truth behind the controversy.

How can he make a conclusion that the former mayor, the former city administrator, and the former head of CSWD were the ones directly responsible for the mess of the ayuda distribution?

Has Judith asked those who actually distributed the cash to the recipient if they really handed over to the latter their ayuda?

My sources say that those who were tasked to distribute the ayuda to the recipients were the ones who should be investigated because the grapevine is replete with writings on the wall about how they cleverly or recklessly made money for themselves without the knowledge of the “three musketeers.”

Of the many city employees – regulars, casuals, job orders – who were tasked to do the distribution, it should not be difficult for Judith to ferret the truth.

A layman can always see the scheme. If Judith asked one supposed recipient but did not receive the ayuda if the signature on the acknowledgment form is his or hers, then the next thing to do is to call the one who distributed the ayuda to explain the discrepancy. It does not need a lawyer’s mind to find out the truth. (Peter Clarete|peterclarete@gmail.com)
