DIGOS City ― Two wanted people with different cases fell into the claws of the law in separate operations in Bansalan, Davao del Sur, and Manay, Davao Oriental this week.

Captain Orlando Udalve, Bansalan OIC police chief served a warrant of arrest issued against Ellidan Castro Villar, 54, a laborer, and a resident of Nebrada Street, Barangay Poblacion Dos in Bansalan last Friday morning.

Villar is facing charges for lasciviousness Conduct under section 5(b) of RA 7610, the report said.

Regional Trial Court Branch-21 Presiding Judge Alexander Balingit Yarra based in Bansalan, Davao del Sur issued the warrant of arrest for Villar and pegged a P180,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty.

Meanwhile, Major Meliton Sango, Manay police chief said a Manhunt Charlie Operation was launched on the afternoon of July 20 at Barangay Mayo, Mati City in Davao Oriental with the goal to arrest Leo Fernandez Mabasa, 43, laborer and resident of Purok Casuaman, Barangay Zaragoza, Manay, Davao Oriental.

Regional Trial Court Branch-5 Judge Semiramis Bituin Castro based in Mati, Davao Oriental issued the arrest warrant against Mabasa on April 3, 2023. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Both suspects are placed under police custody and will be presented to the Judge issuing their respective warrants of arrest.
