THEY made it earlier against Sarangani in the elimination phase as the Misamis Oriental’s softball girls are hoping to repeat against the same opponent in the Philippine Series Little League 2024 Regional Tournament which culminates today amid heavy rains at the Provincial Capitol Grounds of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

The Paglaum MisOr hitters, represented by the finest female athletes of Magsaysay municipality, overpowered Sarangani during their first encounter, 11-5.

They then outlasted Valencia City, 6-2 on Thursday’s crossover round to face Sarangani again after the latter’s conquest of Kapalong, Davao del Norte in the other half of the semis matches.

“Yes, we have a great advantage against Sarangani that we always remind our athletes nga dili mag kumpyansa and dulaon lang sa insakto among giandam nga strategy,” said Jackie Lou Aboc who enjoys an able support from fellow coaches Kristine Sasa and Ryan Ratilla as well as trainer Leonardo Pon in their quest to earn a seat in the national finals being scheduled in Batangas City this coming April.

Solidifying MisOr’s softball girls in the final are Christine Sososco, Jean Rose Tion, Shane Ballard, Claire Marie Carmelotes, Stephanie Maestrado, Cindy Dorado, Jessica Jane Megallen, Gerlyn Magatines, Begene Lebor, Elaisa Jean Babayson, Honey Jean Bueno, Natashia Nicole Mendoza and Jean Lee Tion.
